She completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), then a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Salt Lake City.

What is a deep plane facelift?
A deep plane facelift repositions the deeper support layers of the face, not just the skin. It improves the jowls, the folds beside the nose and mouth, and the jawline without a pulled look. Incisions sit around the ears and under the chin.
How long is recovery after a facelift and neck lift?
Most patients return to work and social plans 10 to 14 days after surgery. Swelling peaks on day 2 or 3, bruising usually fades in 1 to 2 weeks, and about 80% of swelling is gone by one month.
How much does a facelift cost?
A deep plane facelift and neck lift costs $29,500 to $42,530. Every price includes the surgeon fee, facility fee and anesthesia fee. Your exact price depends on your plan, which is set at your consultation.

How long should I wait after weight loss?
Wait until you have reached your goal weight and kept it stable for several months. Dr. Anghel asks patients to be within about 15 pounds of their goal before surgery, including after GLP‑1 medications such as Ozempic or Mounjaro.
