Facelift at a Glance
Overview
Face and Neck lift surgery is done to improve the jowls, nasolabial folds, and neck area. The deep plane technique offers superior lift without a wind-swept appearance. The scars are nearly undetectable and hidden around the ears and under the chin.
This surgery resets the clock on facial aging. It is commonly done in patients starting with their 50s through later in life. Massive weight loss patients (like those who have used GLP1 medications) benefit from this surgery and often require fat grafting as an adjunct.
Recovery
Most patients are able to return to social activity or work after 10-14 days after face and necklift surgery.
Patients are uncomfortable for the first several weeks with a feeling of tightness in the face and neck. The majority of patients are able to manage their pain with over the counter medications and avoid narcotics.
Dr. Anghel will ask you to avoid rigorous activity during the first 4 weeks after surgery, long walks and gentle stretching is encouraged.
Results
Face and Necklift surgery results are immediately noticeable.

Scars start off as pink thin lines and fade to thin white lines. Healing is complete at 1 year after surgery.
